  I got a post card in the mail for a cleaning, x-rays, and exam for $90something dollars and I don't have dental insurance at the moment so I decided to take advantage of the offer. I had never been to this office before and was a new patient. I got my cleaning, x-rays and exam done and was told I would need extensive work done. I didn't immediately make an appointment to have the work done because I would like to get another or some more opinions. I was told I had 6 things wrongs and with no insurance it will be costly.
  
  So I found a few dentists willing to do the 2nd consultation and they asked me to get the x-rays and now Dr. Gils office is refusing to give me my x-rays UNLESS I pay. The cost is $25. Why should I have to pay for my own records? If you were a medical doctors office usually doctor to doctor transers don't cost anything. The other dentists offices that I'm speaking with said it costs nothing to email xrays to another doctor. This just proves this office is only in it for the money. I will not be returning- this is not how you treat patients. I was only trying to get a 2nd opinion- you aren't the ones who have to pay for my treatment I am and I have to find the most econmical and reasonable options.
  
  I would not recommend this dentist office just based on the fact that you have to pay for records/x-rays. Think about that if you ever decide to move or switch dentists. This office will charge you $25 for your records/x-rays.
