  Intesting to see things have not changed since I tried to adopt a dog from them 5 years ago. Same deal: filled out application, excuse after excuse why every dog we liked was not a "good fit", home visit and "fenced in yard" a must, blah, blah, blah. I left and went to Mount Pleasant in Hanover, NJ: initial interview, picked, met and played with dog. Second interview with all family members, same deal. Third visit, we brought our beloved dog home. The vibe I got at RBARI was as if they purposedly want to keep the shelter as full as possible as they are big fund-raisers in the area. And yeah, people pretty condescending and rude.

  We got out pit from them a yr ago and they are very kind and friendly. They showed they really care who was adopting their animals. I would def recommend. Fees are decent as well
